August Craziness

The month of August has been a complete whirl wind for our family not only at home but work has been super busy as well. Mike and I are so grateful for all the blessings we have in our life the people that Heavenly Father has placed in our life and the Angels sent to look after us.

For those of you who don't know, Hudson will no longer be the only child in our household. We look forward to finding out what we are having and to the new adventures that come with adding another kid to the family.

My good friend and hairstylist was in town this month so I had to get in and see her for a new look. I love it and it is the perfect length not too short yet still long enough to curl.

Here are some Belly shots from this pregnancy, I am beginning to show which is always nice, I feel better about myself wearing maternity clothes now. :) lol

Here is Hudson at the splash pad, this kid LOVES the water and LOVES the splash pad. The second we pull into the parking lot he goes crazy babbling and laughing and pointing at the splash pad. He is so smart and so aware of his surroundings Mike and I are amazed by our little smarty pants.

I love these boys, we love to play outside and go for walks and any time I say Hudson want to go Bye Bye he will walk straight to the door because he knows and loves that Bye Bye means getting out of the house. :)

Last week was an insane week for us, I went in to see the Dermatologist on Monday because I had a spot on my collar bone that has been bugging me for years. She took one look at it and was like "yeah, I am 98% positive that is skin cancer" so they took a biopsy and by Thursday I found out it came back positive for a Basil Cell Carcinoma and by Friday I went in to just speak with the surgeon to set up surgery but low and behold blind sided me and said "the room is ready lets go ahead and remove that thing"..... So, I figured better now than later right, so 30 minutes later local anisthetic lots of deep breaths and it was gone. December I go in for my full skin evaluation to see if there are anymore spots that need to be removed and then I will be seen twice a year for 3 years and then once a year for the rest of my life. I am blessed that it is the most common type of skin cancer found in America 8 out of 10 individuals end up getting this type of skin cancer. However being only 25 years old and being diagnosed already scares me, so no matter how careful I have been all these years in the sun caking on the sunscreen, I will have to be even more careful.

Hudson is so sweet this month he has really been into carring a blanket around and grabing the stuffed animals from out of his crib that he sleeps with at night. Mike and I's favorite is he has two knitted blankets that friends made him not only are they his favorite but he loves to put them on his head and walk around. We just laugh because he looks like a little ghost wearing them, but its cute because he likes it and will laugh because he can see through the knitted holes.

Whats new, Hudson loves to do boy things with his Dad. He loves going to the Home Depot, he loves to push his lawn mower around and he loves to hammer things. We love this little guy.
Did I mention that Mike has started teaching him how to drive? Looks like I am going to have two individuals in my household obsessed with cars. :)
